LSA (Gaming Grants)

· Started the campaign for a new firehouse for Lake Silkworth fire company and police supplies with School district active shooter training.

o Contact a board member Mr. Lathrop about a new firehouse once seeing how small and dangerous the location was. She drafted a request letter for him to the Township Supervisor and submitted the Letter. She campaigned for chance to apply for an LSA grant for the firehouse and was granted the chance to apply. She noticed the lack of proper equipment for our township police for dealing with an active shooter when talking with Chief Kocher, who was key in listing needs for his force and helping in finding the proper active shooter training course/instruction.  After applying they  were granted over $500,000.00 towards a firehouse and approximately $80,000.00 which she brought ALICE, active shooter training for the first time to the Lake Lehman school district, and supplied the Township Police Officers with a New Cruiser, active shooter ALICE training, a shield, helmets, vests, AR’s, and scopes to respond to a possible active shooter. All with an LSA grant.

o The following year applied for emergency road equipment for local Township road department.
